Shakeri House Renovation Design with Tourism and Improvement of Life Quality Approach

Introduction

Buildings are among the most enduring and eye-catching works of art in the world, which include houses, baths, mosques,,Bazars, Timchehs, etc., each of which in turn They are self-important and have world-class features.In the meantime, valuable houses have been built in all parts of Islamic Iran in different periods, which can be based on practical measures (restoration and revitalization) and economic measures with a tourism approach, ultimately leading to improving the quality of life of the residents of those neighborhoods. The holy city of Qom with its seven thousand year old civilization has placed valuable works in its heart, the symbol of which is the great shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (as) and is one of the valuable works registered in our beloved country.

Materials and Methods

The research method in this paper is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. Data collection is  in library method and field research and  analysis method is Qualitative.

Results and Discsussion

Among the historical houses of this holy city in Agha Seyyed Hassan neighborhood, there is Shakeri house (related to Qajar period) which had a special importance with its special architecture, which is why it was nationally registered in 2001 and which was renovated and revived. This capacity can be used in the development of the tourism industry of the province and the country and its expansion in raising the level of improvement of life in the region.

Conclusions

Considering cognitive and pathological studies by considering international and national charters and documents in order to meet the requirements for restoration and rehabilitation, finally to determine the intervention strategies in the building with a tourism approach and quality of life based on research method.

It is worth mentioning that any intervention in the construction of Shakeri House should be based on explaining the theoretical foundations from the perspective of cultural, historical and memorial values, so first it should be in the sense of historical memory approved by international charters and resolutions and its implementation.Despite the existence of theoretical and practical knowledge of restoration in the country and carrying out various and valuable projects, unfortunately, there are no reliable local documents in the field of protection and restoration.

In the meantime, the only document for the restoration and exploitation of historical and cultural sites prepared by the Rehabilitation Fund can be referred to, which has been considered in the design of Shakeri House. This document, as a document of tomorrow with a national scale, is necessary to determine the appropriate use of historical buildings and cultural sites. By considering the processes of determining intervention strategies effective considerations on the restoration plan, determining the scope and amount of interventions, etc., it is possible to identify and adapt the spatial standards of the proposed uses (Residential-Recreational).
