The population growth has accelerated the physical expansion of cities and increased the risk of geomorphology in urban areas. Considering the importance of hazards and its association with casualty and financial damages, this study evaluates the hazards facing the urban area of Qorveh and Qaleh discontinuous urban area.Since the purpose of this study is to identify the geomorphological hazards of Qorveh city, firstly using different information layers and library information and field observations, the general status of the area has been evaluated and three types of risk of slope movements, flood and subsidence have been identified for the region. Then, using fuzzy logic, radar images, and SBAS method, as well as field observations, the susceptible areas of slope movement, subsidence, and flood were identified, respectively. The results indicate that the study area, especially the southern margin of Qorveh and the margins of the Qaleh River, with a maximum of 47 mm subsidence, has a high potential for subsidence. Also, due to the status of the Qaleh River, the marginal areas of this river that have been the focus of many settlements in recent years have great potential for flooding, as well as parts of the western area of Qorveh which advance towards the slopes of Mount Kolava, are subject to slope movements.

Urban development and growth have been some factors of land use change in recent years. Awareness of the amount and the process of the made changes is essential in order to future planning. Therefore, this research has proceeded to the monitoring and analysis of land use change in the city area of Islamabad and the process of residential areas development towards hazardous areas. This research has used satellite images (Landsat 4, 7 and 8) of 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2018. After providing the land use map in ENVI software, the made changes has been analysed by using IDRISI software and Also, the process of development of residential areas for 2035 and 2050 has been predicted. Eventually, the research has evaluated the development process of residential areas in hazardous areas. The results of the study indicate that during a period of 28 years (from 1990 to 2018); the residential use has increased from 7.7 km2 in 1990 to 13.8 km2 in 2018. Moreover, the result of the change process prediction of residential areas suggest that these areas will increase to 16.5 and 18.7 km2 by 2035 and 2050. In addition, the results of the evaluation of residential areas development towards hazardous areas indicate that about 0.9 km2 of the whole residential areas have been in hazardous areas. This amount has increased to 1.5, 1.9, and 2.6 km2 for the years 2000, 2010 and 2018 the most of which relates to northern areas of city area of Islamabad of West.

In order to decrease the vulnerability, urban planning is in need of recognizing the vulnerability of every physical elements of the city. In this case, evaluation and analysis of the transportation criterion in order to decrease the vulnerability of the communication network and especially city passages, as a physical element of the city, is highly important. This research, deals with the analysis of the transportation criteria by using analytical network process (ANP-SWOT) with the applied analytical method. The objective of this research is to analyze and evaluate the transportation elements in order to decrease the vulnerabilities arising from earthquake, and to recognize and separate the effective factors on vulnerability in the city passages network of Sanandaj. The transportation criteria that are used in this research are, city land use, materials and quality of buildings, the distance of the passages network from fault, passages hierarchy, optimizing the capacity of passages, remoteness and proximity of passages to the medical centers. The final results indicate that the ranked one criterion of the passages hierarchy has the most importance and the material and the quality of the buildings with the priority six has the least significance.

In order to attract public participation and reinforce social capital in urban plans, we need to create a participatory planning system. In other words, it is only in the case of public participation that plans and actions will be planned based on the real needs of the people; and because the people themselves design them, they will be sustainable. Achieving this will require the assessment of social capital strategies of public participation in the renovation of exhausted texture. The exhausted texture of the Sanandaj city in the central part of the city, by containing several historical elements and the presence of the main orders of activity and market within itself as the heart of the city, is the focus of the programs of organization and renovation of the exhausted texture. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the strategies of public participation in the renovation of the exhausted texture with the approach of social capital. The method of this descriptive-analytic study is qualitative based on the type of data and variables. The statistical population consisted of 385citizens and residents randomly. The gathered data were collected by SPSS software using questionnaires. Then, one-sample T-test and Pearson correlation test were used to analyze the research questions and hypotheses. Therefore, in studying the research hypotheses, we can conclude that the participatory and functionalist model according to social participation, social cohesion, residents' tendency to participate, the investor groups’ tendency to participate, the tendency to continue residing, persistence amount, is important. Moreover, justifies functionalism and public participation criteria.
